State level Best performance award for SHG-Bank linkage Programme for the year 2010-11 and 2011-12

Nageshwara Charitable trust (NCT), centre for women and rural development has been awarded with state level 1st prize for its outstanding contribution towards promotion of Self-Help Group (SHG) by National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) recently at Pune. NCT was awarded for two consecutive years 2010-11 and 2012 by the hands of Col. K C Mishra, Post Master General of Maharashtra. Shri. M V Ashok Chief General Manager, and Dr. P M Ghole, General Manager of NABARD were prominently present during the award ceremony held at Pune on 06/11/2012. H M B Murthy, Secretary of NCT received the 1st position for the year 2011-12 and 1st position for the year 2010-11 was received by Mukund Dhok, Senior Project coordinator, Jaishree Bhosle, Assistant project Coordinator and Rita Bhoyar, Assistant Project Coordinator jointly. NCT has promoted over 12000 women SHGs in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh and supported over 100 SHG federations and six SHG product marketing shops known as Swayam Shoppee. NCT has also supported the women SHGs for marketing by establishing a registered brand name called ‘Swayam’.

NABARD: NCT has been consistently working for NABARD over last 10 years in formation and credit linkage of Self-Help Groups in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. The Regional Office, NABARD, Maharashtra, has been giving awards since 3 years to NCT for best performance.
