RBI’s Regional Director’s visit to Various projects:

1) Shri. P. K. Jena, Regional Director of Reserve Bank of India, Bhopal has visited the TDF, Watershed & FPO projects implemented by NCT at Tamia block of Chhindwara district on 18/09/2018. He interacted with the wadi beneficiaries, watershed project beneficiaries and directors of FPOs. He inaugurated the poultry farming activities of the Denva Agro Farmers Producer Company Limited, Tamia. He distributed the Kadaknath Chicks to the member farmers.

2) Shri. P R Ravi, RD, RBI Bhopal has visited the Tribal Development and Watershed projects being implemented by NCT on 10/01/2014. He visited wadis established by tribal farmers and watershed development being implemented by the village whatershed committee at Tamia block of Chhindwara district. Shri. Ravi also inaugurated the Phalam Sampada marketing out-let at Tamia. Shri. Umesh Kumar Singh, GM, CBI, Shri. P K Gupta, Chairman, CMPGB also accompanied him during his visit.

3) Shri. Murli Radhakrishnan, Regional Director, RBI, Bhopal has visited the TDF project & Handloom project being implemented by NCT on 12/12/2014. Shri. Radhakrishnan visited the Khushi showroom at Lodhikheda and visited the Wadis of Tribal farmers at Tamia block of Chhindwara district.

 

4) Smt. Phulan Kumari, RD, RBI, Nagpur has visited the watershed development project implemented by NCT at village Gondi mohagaon on 16/01/2010. Madam Phulan Kumari has visited the watershed sites and seen various measures being implemented by the village watershed committee. She also addressed the villagers in a Óutreach’ programme organized by BOI at the village on the same day.

Other dignitaries who have visited Various projects:

1) District collector, Rajnandgaon Shri. Ashok Agarwal IAS has visited the TDF project in Chhuriya block twice during November 2012 and February 2014. He addressed hung gatherings of tribal beneficiaries in two ‘Kisan sammelan’ organized at project villages of TDF project Chhuriya and Chhuriya P2. The collector also visited the Wadis of Tribal farmers and appreciated the efforts taken by the tribals.

2) The Additional Charity Commissioner, Nagpur Division, Nagpur Shri. Shashikant Kulkarni has visited the TDF project at Tamia in Chhindwara district during October 2011. The Commissioner has visited several villages and Wadis developed by the tribal farmers and had detailed interaction with them. He also distributed Spray Pumps, Pump Sets and other assets to the beneficiaries. Hon. Kulkarni visited many tribal households and understood their living and difficulties faced by them. He praised the good work done by the Trust and appreciated the team work.

2) The Additional Charity Commissioner, Nagpur Division, Nagpur Shri. Shashikant Kulkarni has visited the TDF project at Tamia in Chhindwara district during October 2011. The Commissioner has visited several villages and Wadis developed by the tribal farmers and had detailed interaction with them. 4) Shri. Karnail Singh IAS Additional secretary and Shri. Thakur, Director, Agriculture, Government of India, visited village Isaapur during February 2007 and visited various initiatives under NABARD sponsored Village Farm Development Programme. He was pleased to see development of the special project launched by NABARD and appreciated the Trust’s efforts.

5) Shri. Sanjay Kumar Mukharjee IAS, Disitrict collector Nagpur visited Village Panmara during July 2007 for the inauguration of NABARD supported Village Development Programme. He addressed the community during the programme at the village.

6) District Collector, Nagpur Shri. Praveen Darade IAS Has visited the Community Managed Resource Centre (CMRC), Savitribai Sansadan Kendra at Mauda in Nagpur district. He inaugurated the CMRC of SHGs and addressed the women SHG members gathered there.

7) District collector Seoni district in Madhya Pradesh Shri. P Narahari IAS during January 2009. He attended a SHG-Bank credit linkage programme at Kurai in Seoni district of than Satpuda-Narmada Gramin Bank (present Central Mahdya Pradesh Gramin Bank-CMPGB). He addressed over 600 women SHG members gathered during the programme.

8) Shri. Nikunj Srivastava, IAS, District Collector, Chhindwara visited the TDF project being implemented by the Trust During August 2009. He inaugurated the sensitization programme organized at Tamia for Panchayati Raj Representatives. He addressed about 100 PRI representatives during the programme. He also visited the WADIs and Model Plots developed by the Trust

9) Shri. E Khobragade IAS, District collector, Wardha visited the Trust’s initiatives many times. During 2007 and 2008 as district collector, Wardha he visited many farmers trainings and capacity building programmes. He also addressed a hung women SHG gathering at Talegaon in Ashti block of Wardha district.
