11. Rural Innovation Fund (RIF) Project
NABARD had sanctioned a RIF project for commercial cultivation of Lac in dry and waste land at Tamia block of Chhindwara district. The innovation in this project was to disseminate the commercial cultivation in dry and waste land in hilly and tribal areas of the district. NABARD had sanctioned Rs. 9.65 lakhs under this project to establish 2 acre host plants for 8 beneficiaries. The result of this initiative was good.
