NCT got an opportunity to meet the Finance Minister and Urban Development Minister

NCT is implementing two Handloom clusters in Lodhikheda and Mohagaon villages of Sausar Tehsil of Chhindwara District. Good quality Handloom cloths are produced in both the clusters. NCT has signed an MOU with NID qualified Textile designer Shri. Anupam Majumdar of Ahmedavad. Shri. Majumdar has developed beautidul designs for the Cluster.

Selling handloom cloths is not a profitable business. Hence NCT, with the designer, developed high range of Men and Women garments and established a brand known as ‘Khushi’. Now, the women members of the weavers families got job in the Khushi garment stitching unit. They produce excellent quality men and women garments at Lodhikheda.

NCT got an opportunity to meet and present Shirts and khutras made to the sizes of Hon. P. Chidambaram, Finance minister and Hon. Shri. Kamalnath, Urban Development Minister in a progrgramme at Chhindwara on 09/01/2013. Shri. H M B Murthy, Secretary and Shri. Anupam Majumdar, Designer met both the ministers and presented the gifts specially made for them.
