|NCT GOT AN OPPORTUNITY TO MEET AND SPEND QUALITY TIME WITH A GENTLEMAN CGM OF NABARD...
Nageshwara Charitable Trust (NCT) got an opportunity to receive and spend quality time with Dr. R N Kulkarni ji, Chief General Manager, NABARD, Maharashtra regional office, Pune. Dr. Kulkarni ji spared his valuable time to visit the Agriculture Knowledge Centre (AKC) on 26/07/2016 and spent half a day on 27/07/16 visiting the Tribal development project (TDF) being implemented by NCT at Deori block of Gondia district, one of the backward, difficult and naxal affected area.
On 26/07/2016, Dr. Kulkarni ji visited the AKC, honey processing centre supported by NABARD under its UPNRM programme, shown keen interest in various agriculture developments such as vegetable cultivation under protected condition under Playhouses and Shade net houses, fully automated water management system, vermicompost, vermiwash, NADEP, Azolla, horticulture plots, use of Cow urine and Jeevamrut or Amrutjal, a modern dairy, green fodder production using hydroponic technique, bio-gas unit available at the AKC and a modern dairy set up by the Trustees of NCT. He has made valuable suggestions to further improvise the initiatives being practiced/established at
On 27/07/2016, Dr. Kulkarni ji visited couple of tribal villages where the TDF project is being implemented by NCT. He interacted with the tribal beneficiaries, visited their Wadi clusters, SRI plots established by them taking loan.
Madam Maithili Kowe, the DDM of Nagpur accompanied him during his visit to both AKC and the TDF project.
|NCT Celebrates NABARD’s 35th Foundation day...
On 12th day of July, 35 years back, National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), came into existence. On this occasion, Nageshwara Charitable trust (NCT) celebrated 35th Foundation Day of NABRAD at various places/villages. Several programmes such as plantation, health camps, Gram Swachata Abhiyan, Financial literacy programmes were organized in the state of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
Best Wadi competition was organized at NABARD supported TDF project at Deori block of Gondia district. First prize (Farm equipments worth Rs. 10000/-) and Second prize (Farm equipments worth Rs. 5000/-) were given to two farmers Shri. Amardas Kachlam and Shri. Jageshwar Kumbhre, who’s Wadis were graded as best amongst 600
NABARD District Development Managers, Lead District Managers, Branch Managers, Sarpanchas of various villages and other elected PRI members were prominently present during the programmes.
